EES Agency is a full-service event and experience agency, blending seamless logistics, strategy, creativity, and hospitality to deliver transformative experiences for our clients, their attendees, and our own team. We are seeking a Director of Experience to establish and elevate the standard of experience across every touchpoint—from our internal culture to client relationships to the event attendees we serve.

This is a pivotal leadership role designed for a charismatic, strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality. The Director of Experience will not only shape our culture and client standards but also build toward leading our future creative division as Chief Experience Officer.

key responsibilities

1. Employee Experience (Internal)

  • Partner with Human Resources (HR) and leadership to design and maintain a culture of hospitality, inclusion, and excellence.
  • Create systems and rituals that make employees feel valued, inspired, and aligned with the agency’s purpose.
  • Develop internal experiences that improve retention, performance, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding training, onboarding, internal events, and recognition programs that reflect EES Agency’s values.

2. Client Experience (Point of Contact)

  • Serve as the central experience leader for client relationships, ensuring each interaction is thoughtful, strategic, and hospitality-driven.
  • Build trust with key clients, guiding them through ideation, planning, and delivery.
  • Standardize the client journey, from pitch to execution, ensuring a consistently remarkable experience.
  • Identify and create opportunities for new revenue streams through client partnerships, hospitality offerings, and experience-led initiatives.

3. Attendee Experience (Event-Level)

  • Work with logistics, relationships, creative and strategic teams to design attendee journeys that surprise, delight, and leave a lasting impact.
  • Oversee the hospitality touchpoints at events to ensure excellence in service and environment.
  • Collaborate on branding, activations, messaging, and experience design with creative and marketing leads.
  • Develop attendee feedback loops to measure and refine event impact.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Collaborate across HR, Production, Relationships, Logistics, Creative, Marketing, and Strategy to unify how “experience” shows up in every part of the agency.
  • Translate big-picture vision into actionable strategies across multiple disciplines.
  • Ensure consistency in quality, messaging, and hospitality across all outputs.

Strategic Leadership

  • Establish and uphold agency-wide standards of experience for employees, clients, and attendees.
  • Build, mentor, and eventually lead a creative division within the agency.
  • Maintain, grow, and diversify agency revenue streams.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on experience-driven innovation and differentiation.
  • Represent the agency externally at industry events, panels, and thought leadership forums.

qualifications

  • 10+ years in the hospitality industry with a proven record of elevating guest and client experiences.
  • Business degree or MBA required.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, scale, and measure impact-driven experiences.
  • Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
  • Charismatic presence with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust.
  • Comfortable navigating creative and marketing landscapes, even without a technical background.
  • Adept at balancing big-picture vision with detail-oriented execution.
  • Track record of revenue generation, client retention, and business growth.
